One Thousand Books Art Book Festival (#80)

Alright gang, welcome to episode 80. Today we are presenting some of the conversations we had during the 1000 Books Art Book Festival which was at Charlottenborg about a week and a half ago, even if we did promise that we would never cover a festival again. Never say never right? We spoke to a handful of folks, from the organizers to some of the exhibiting artists and on to the publishers. It was a fun and challenging event, and we got a wide range of opinions on the current status of independent book publishing and what the future might hold. We spoke with Flemming Ove Bech, Erik Steinbrecher, Christian Aschman, Bruno Ceschel (Self Publish Be Happy) and Åse Eg Jørgensen (Pist Protta), so there is something for everyone. We recommend that you take a look at some of the images from the show beforehand (below) in order to contextualize the conversations and afterwards that you check out the site for the festival with the list and links for all the publishers.
