Future Preservation

Future Preservation is a platform for local engagement with art, based in Denmark. It is a collaboration between artist Andreas Olsen (host of The Undergang Armchair) and curator, producer and fascilitator for art and artists, Therese Maria Gram.

Future Preservation is a platform for face to face meetings with art, though a program of artist talks and podcasts, giving audiences the chance to engage directly with art and artists.

Breathing Materials

I first met Sophie Dupont in 2013, when we invited her to participate in the pop-up exhibition Girls Just Want to Have Fun in Copenhagen. When we met to talk about her contribution to the exhibition, she told me that she wanted to do a performance balancing on a seesaw with a real parrot. This became Abstract Performance, Balancing Act (945 Breaths).
